Fitness
The gym at Adwick offers a comprehensive suite of fitness and strength equipment. Pay-as-you-go or sign up for our Choose Fitness membership for year-round access to all our centres.
The gym is currently being renovated, with an alternative 'temporary' gym in the sports hall. The newly renovated gym will open on 1 December 2025.
Facilities
The gym is currently undergoing a renovation, and while these works are taking place, there is a temporary gym in the sports hall.
The sauna is also closed as part of the development, though as part of your Choose Fitness membership, you can also use the facilities at our other centres, and there are saunas/steam rooms at the Dome and Choose Fitness Balby.
The new facility will open on 1 December.

You can finish your workout with a swim in our 6 lane swimming pool.

Tanita - understanding your measurements
Our new body analysis scales, Tanita, measure far more than just your weight to give you a great insight into your body measurements and how you can use these to set goals and track progress.
More than just weight Tanita scales measure over ten different metrics (not just your weight), giving you a comprehensive picture of your body composition.
- Body-insight for smarter decisions - so you can see where to focus, whether that’s reducing visceral fat, building muscle in weaker segments, or improving metabolic efficiency.
- Segmental analytics - to analyse muscle and fat per body part (arms, legs, torso), helps you detect imbalances or assess targeted training progress.
- Muscle quality scoring - helps you understand not just how much muscle you have, but how healthy or functional your muscle is.
- Metabolic and calorie intelligence measures like Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), metabolic age, and daily calorie intake estimation allow you to tailor diet and activity plans more accurately.
- Trackable, actionable data - to set specific, measurable goals (e.g., reduce visceral fat, increase lean mass, improve symmetry) and track real progress over time.
