Travelling by Car

By Car (Main Road Routes)

From the M18 (Sheffield / Leeds)

• Take the M18 and exit at Junction 3.
• At the roundabout, follow signs for White Rose Way/A6182 toward Doncaster city centre.
• Continue straight through the next roundabouts toward Lakeside/Bawtry Road.
• At the roundabout by Lakeside Village Outlet, bypass the shopping entrance and continue around the Lakeside development (lake on your left).
• You’ll soon see The Dome on your right; turn right into the free Dome car park.

Tip: The Dome is only a few minutes’ drive from M18 Junction 3, making it easy to reach from both Leeds and Sheffield directions.

From the A1(M) (North or South)

• Exit the A1(M) at Junction 36 toward Doncaster.
• Follow signs for A638 / Doncaster (City Centre).
• Stay on the A638/Bawtry Road heading into Doncaster until you see signs for Lakeside/Doncaster Dome.
• Turn off Bawtry Road into the Dome’s car park.

This is a commonly-used route for visitors coming from York, Peterborough, or the East Coast.

From the M1 (North or South)

• Join the A1(M) north or south, depending on your direction.
• Then follow the A1(M) → A638 route above.
• The Dome is approximately 20–30 minutes from both Junction 32 (A1(M)) and Junction 36 (A1(M)).
